Mama’s Kitchen — Cauliflower Leaves

Cauliflower leaves, chopped – 1 cup (around 400 gms)
Parboiled yellow lentils – 3 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
small onions – 2/3
Mustard 1/2 – 1 tsp
Dried red chilli 1 
Oil 1 tbsp
Curry leaves – few

Coarsely grind the following
small onions – 2/3
small green chilli – 1
curry leaves
Grated coconut – 2 tbsp


Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard, and onions. Saute till the onions are translucent
Add the curry leaves and red chilli and saute for a few seconds more.
Add the chopped cauliflower leaves. 
Followed by turmeric powder and salt. 
Give it a stir or two.
Then add the parboiled lentils and mix it well.
Now add the coarsely ground mix of coconut, onions, chilli and curry leaves.
Cover and cook for five minutes.
After which stir it for a minute or two and serve hot with rice.
