This is what you might need for that important occassion — a lil’ pice of heaven 🙂

Baking temperature – 180 C
Baking time – 20 min

Ingredients: 
150 gms butter softened
150 gms caster sugar
150 gms flour
3 eggs
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 vanilla pod / 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
Preheat oven to 180 C. 
Cream  butter, sugar and vanilla extract until pale and fluffy.
Beat eggs in another bowl and then add to the above mix.
Fold in the flour.
Fill the cupcake liners half full.
Bake until the cupcakes are cooked. When a skewer is inserted in, it should come out clean. Once baked allow to cool for at least 15 min and then remove.

BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
Ingredients: 
100 gms butter softened
100 gms icing sugar siftd, 
seeds of one vanilla pod/ 1 tsp vanilla extract
liquid/gel food color


Method:
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix using an electric mixer. 
Beat until light and fluffy.
Then add a couple of drops of food colour -light pink, yellow, blue or any other colour you desire. 
Fit any icing nozzle in a piping bag and fill with butter-cream.
Pipe swirls on top of the prepared vanilla cupcakes. 
Decorate the cupcake using a few fondant heart shape cutouts. Take a small piece of red fondant and roll out on a clean surface and make cutouts using the heart shaped cutter. Place on the cupcake for a perfect gift.
