If you are from a tropical country and planning your first winter trip to Switzerland, to maybe try your hand at a lil’ bit of skiing, you won’t be alone in wondering about what kind of clothes you need to buy. I say buy, because I bet you, someone living in a hot and humid country, don’t have hard-core winter wear in your closet. If you do then you need to have your head examined 😉 If you plan on trying to 🎿, you don’t have to buy ski clothes or gear. These are different from your regular winter wear and they can be rented from the sports shops usually attached to your ski resort.
Now coming to winter wear. Don’t go overboard buying all those heavy-duty, fit-for-the-ramp winter clothes and boots. Remember, you’d hardly need these once you return to your tropical home. 🏠 Decathlon Sports India stocks up on reasonably priced good quality winter boots, thermals et al. I got all my stuff from there — paying hard-earned money (saying it so you know this is not a paid post 😄)
